Prepare the oven and pan
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake pan with butter or margarine. -
Beat the eggs
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. -
Add the liquids
Mix in coconut milk and regular milk until well combined. Stir in sugar if using. -
Incorporate condensed milk
Whisk thoroughly until smooth. -
Add butter
Stir in the melted butter or margarine. -
Add flour
Gradually sift in flour, mixing gently to avoid lumps. -
Bake the cake
Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread evenly.
Bake 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. -
Cool and serve
Let the cake cool slightly in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
Slice and serve once cooled.
