Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Prepare the Breading Stations

  1. In a shallow bowl, place the flour.

  2. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.

  3. In a third bowl, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Bread the Chicken

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.

  3. Dip into beaten eggs, letting extra drip off.

  4. Press into Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly on all sides.

Step 4: Pan-Fry the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Cook chicken 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  3. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Step 5: Finish in the Oven

  1. Transfer browned chicken to the prepared baking sheet.

  2. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  1. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes.

  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
